Lake McDonald at Fish Creek

Having opportunity to paint en plein air in Glacier National Park is something I look forward to every year. The scene her is of Lake McDonald just past Fish Creek. The rocks and color of the water in the foreground inspired me to paint this scene. It was in September  just as the leaves began to turn yellow.
